The Church

Peniel Baptist Church has been preaching the Gospel to Môle-Saint-Nicolas since 1974. Pastor Kenan Molme has a heart for preaching the truth of God’s word to an area that is riddled with voodoo. The church has been a staple in the community bringing spiritual hope as well as bringing physical support. The Myerses (our on-the-field team) have partnered with the Molmes supporting bible studies and prayer groups to help grow the church in Haiti.

Education

One sure way to work against the cycle of poverty in Haiti is to ensure that people receive a solid education. Students enrolled in the schools we help support receive a formal education as well as Bible teaching from qualified teachers. LOTFM is playing an active role in the development of partnerships and fundraising, as well as exploring self-sustaining solutions that will allow the schools within M.E.E.H. to remain open and operational. The schools we help support are located in the villages of Pellier, Côtes-de-fer, Port au Prince, and our primary location of ministry, Môle-Saint-Nicolas.

Evangelizing

The foundation of our ministry’s work is the gospel. With a commission to “Go and make disciples” our physical presence in Haiti and the work surrounding it are but platforms that allow us to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Through the support of our ministry, missionaries in the village of Mole Saint Nicolas set out every week to share the gospel and many locals have responded in faith.

Team Trips

Working together to establish community is a priority of our ministry. LOTFM is intentional about building relationships with the people we want to engage and for that reason the word “family” appears in our ministry name.  We build these relationships by assembling teams and going with a purpose to reach others with the gospel, teach the Word of God, and serve the “Least of These” while walking through life’s struggles and victories at their sides.
